Development Update: Residents Weigh St. George Tower Plan St. George community advocates are expressing openness to the city’s previously reported waterfront plan, while raising concerns about building heights and blocked views. The proposal includes seven towers reaching up to 30 stories, with 2,500 apartments. One longtime resident warned that a proposed 13-story building could obstruct waterfront views from the park along Richmond Terrace. The St. George Civic Association expects to discuss the proposal in October. No developers have been selected, and the project still requires rezoning and environmental review.
