*Truck Route Plan for Korean War Veterans Parkway Put on Hold* A city proposal to allow commercial trucks on the Korean War Veterans Parkway has been put on hold after officials failed to gain the required support in Albany. The parkway is controlled by New York State, and state legislation would be needed to change the current restriction on commercial trucks. The original proposal called for allowing only smaller commercial vehicles, such as delivery vans, commercial pickup trucks and small moving trucks.
