*Cameras Catch Illegal Dumpers Across Staten Island* A joint crackdown by the Staten Island district attorney’s office and DSNY has recorded 243 illegal dumping incidents and resulted in more than $458,000 in fines since 2019, including over $32,000 this year. Hidden and visible cameras monitor dumping hotspots, helping investigators identify vehicles involved. Offenders face fines starting at $4,000 and having their vehicles impounded. In a separate Grasmere case, investigators traced garbage dumped along Narrows Road South through mail found inside the bags. The individual admitted to dumping the trash and received a ticket. *_Join the Island Media WhatsApp Status_* https://wa.me/19297271071?text=Subscribe *_Join the Island News and Updates group_* https://chat.whatsapp.com/Bi5MGP3Nx1qJUoVkKmYW5j
