*Officials Demand Permanent Fix for Clove Lakes Sewage Leaks* Borough President Vito Fossella, Sen. Andrew Lanza and Assemblymember Sam Pirozzolo called for a full replacement of faulty plumbing at the Stone House restaurant and a Parks Department garage on Slosson Avenue, after sewage leaks contaminated Clove Lakes Park’s waterways. The officials said temporary measures are insufficient and demanded a permanent solution, along with broader testing to determine the extent of the contamination. The restaurant remains open with a temporary kitchen-waste connection to the city sewer and a restroom trailer for customers. *_Join the Island Media WhatsApp Status_* https://wa.me/19297271071?text=Subscribe *_Join the Island News and Updates group_* https://chat.whatsapp.com/Bi5MGP3Nx1qJUoVkKmYW5j
