*COJO Brings Community Leaders and Elected Officials Together at JCC* More than 160 community leaders, elected officials, candidates and guests gathered at the Staten Island JCC for COJO’s 59th annual Legislative Candidates’ Breakfast. The gathering gave residents an opportunity to discuss public safety, antisemitism, social services and neighborhood needs directly with government representatives. Attendees included Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, State Senators Andrew Lanza and Jessica Scarcella-Spanton, Assemblymen Sam Pirozzolo, Michael Reilly and Michael Tannousis, Judge Mendy Mirocznik and NYPD representatives. Discussions covered security funding, support for Holocaust survivors and scholarships for yeshivas and other private schools. COJO emphasized that the event provided a forum to hear from candidates without endorsing them. *_Join the Island Media WhatsApp Status_* https://wa.me/19297271071?text=Subscribe *_Join the Island News and Updates group_* https://chat.whatsapp.com/Bi5MGP3Nx1qJUoVkKmYW5j
