!ערוך *Trump Claims Iran’s Kharg Island Is Being “Blown to Smithereens”* President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video depicting explosions across Iran’s strategic Kharg Island, claiming the key oil hub was being “blown to smithereens.” There is currently no independent confirmation that Kharg Island is actually under attack. Reuters reported that Trump provided no details of a U.S. strike, while analysis indicated the footage itself was likely AI-generated. Kharg Island normally handles roughly 90% of Iran’s crude oil exports, making it one of Tehran’s most strategically important energy facilities.
