Yisrael Beiteinu Moves to Disqualify Ofer Cassif From Next Knesset Race Yisrael Beiteinu faction chairman MK Oded Forer has filed a request to disqualify MK Ofer Cassif from running for the 26th Knesset. The petition accuses Cassif of continuing to support armed struggle against Israel and cites statements in which he described those attacking IDF soldiers as “freedom fighters.” Forer said Cassif “hasn’t changed his ways, he’s only intensified them.”
