IDF Eliminates Hamas Finance Chief in Khan Younis The IDF and Shin Bet confirmed that Muhammad Abu Alwan, head of Hamas’ Finance Department, was eliminated in a strike in Khan Younis. According to Israeli security forces, more than NIS 1 billion was transferred under Abu Alwan’s direction during the war to finance Hamas operations and help maintain the terrorist organization’s control in Gaza. The IDF said Abu Alwan had recently been working to rebuild Hamas’ capabilities and that operations against the group’s financial networks are continuing.
