*Israel Warns of Increased Terror Threat to Israelis and Jews Abroad Ahead of October 7* Ahead of the third anniversary of the October 7 massacre, Israel’s National Security Council is warning of an increased risk of terrorist attacks against Israelis and Jews abroad, alongside demonstrations and public unrest. The NSC says terrorist organizations, led by Iran and its proxies, Hamas and global jihadist groups, view the date as a significant occasion. The public is urged to: • Avoid posting travel plans abroad in advance on social media. • Avoid destinations under Level 4 travel warnings: Jordan, Qatar, Somaliland and Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula. • In Level 3 destinations, minimize speaking Hebrew in crowded public places. • Stay away from demonstrations and large gatherings. • Do not post content on social media that reveals service in Israeli security forces. Israel’s 24/7 terrorism-related travel warning hotline: 02-6667444.
