Israel Plans to Cut Payments for New Rooftop Solar Systems Israel's Electricity Authority has proposed reducing payments for electricity generated by new rooftop solar installations starting in 2027. Rates for smaller systems would fall by 5% annually through 2030, from approximately 43 to 35.5 agorot per kWh. Existing solar system owners would retain their guaranteed rates for 25 years.
