*Israel Releases Hezbollah Operative to Lebanon in Diplomatic Gesture* Israel has released Hezbollah operative Malek Kamal Ghazi to Lebanon as part of the diplomatic gesture surrounding ongoing talks between the countries. Ghazi, who was detained by IDF forces in the Ein Ata area of southern Lebanon in October 2025, was transferred to the International Committee of the Red Cross at the Naqoura crossing. He was then handed over to the Lebanese Army and taken for medical examinations. Lebanese reports described the move as a “goodwill gesture.” Israel is expected to release approximately five Lebanese detainees as part of the broader process.
