UAE Suspends All Iranian Airline Flights Over U.S. Sanctions The United Arab Emirates has halted all flights operated by Iranian airlines as of midnight in compliance with U.S. aviation sanctions, according to Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization. The move leaves Iranian carriers canceling scheduled routes to the UAE, including an Iran Airtour flight from Tehran to Dubai that was canceled shortly before departure. The UAE joins a growing list of countries imposing restrictions on Iranian carriers as Washington increases pressure on Iran’s aviation sector.
