*Ontario Premier Mocks Trump’s “Lake America” Renaming With New Sign* Ontario Premier Doug Ford unveiled a new sign reading “Lake Ontario — Now and Always,” days after President Donald Trump signed an executive order renaming the lake “Lake America” for U.S. federal use. “It was called Lake Ontario long before President Trump and it will be called Lake Ontario long after President Trump is gone,” Ford said.
