Britain to Deploy Fighter Jets to Protect Saudi Arabia From Houthi Attacks The United Kingdom is preparing to deploy Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets to Saudi Arabia to help defend the kingdom against missile and drone attacks by Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen. The British aircraft will focus on protecting Saudi cities, civilians, and critical infrastructure from aerial threats. According to British officials, the deployment will be defensive, with no plans for the jets to carry out strikes inside Yemen. The move signals growing British military involvement in regional security as Houthi attacks continue to threaten Saudi Arabia and stability across the Middle East.
