Senior Iranian Revolutionary Guards Figure Visits Lebanon, Calls for March Toward Jerusalem Hossein Yekta, a senior figure associated with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), reportedly visited Lebanon in early October as part of a delegation supporting families of Hezbollah terrorists killed in fighting. The visit was reportedly intended to strengthen Hezbollah's morale and ideological commitment. Yekta reportedly met senior Hezbollah political and military figures, delivering Iranian messages calling for renewed coordination among Tehran's regional allies. In a video filmed along the Litani River, Yekta was seen washing before prayer and telling young supporters that doing so within sight of Israelis was a prelude to praying in Jerusalem. The visit raises renewed questions about Lebanon's ability to restrict Iranian Revolutionary Guard activity on its territory.
