*Eisenkot Declares Victory for Change, Warns Netanyahu Against Politicizing Security*
Gadi Eisenkot declared that Israelis had voted for change, saying the public had rejected another term for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"We made history," Eisenkot said, while acknowledging that the official election results must still be counted.
He pledged to work toward forming a stable Zionist government, committed to Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, universal national service, and dismantling Hamas.
Eisenkot also warned against another election, calling for leadership that unites Israelis rather than divides them.
In a direct message to security and public service officials, he described Netanyahu as a caretaker prime minister and urged them to resist political pressure.
He also warned Netanyahu against using Israel's security for political purposes.
Eisenkot's remarks reflect his interpretation of the election outcome, with the final results and future coalition still to be determined.
