*Netanyahu Sets Goal for Israel to Become World’s #3 AI Power Within Five Years* Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has set a goal for Israel to become the world’s third major artificial intelligence power, alongside the United States and China, within five years. “There is the United States, there is China — not small countries — but I want Israel to become, and with God’s help it will become, the third power,” Netanyahu said. The goal comes as Israel moves forward with its national AI program, including plans to dramatically expand computing infrastructure, develop an Israeli quantum computer and strengthen the country’s AI workforce.
