Trump Weighs Major Strikes on Iran's Oil Industry According to CNN, President Trump has ordered the Pentagon to prepare plans for major strikes on Iran's oil infrastructure, potentially involving the MOAB, known as the "Mother of All Bombs." The nearly 10-ton bomb can cause massive destruction but cannot penetrate deep bunkers. It requires a specially equipped C-130 aircraft, and only about 15 were produced. But the bigger story isn't the bomb. Trump previously avoided targeting Iran's oil industry over fears of retaliation against Gulf energy facilities. Now, the reported plans could signal a major policy shift, potentially crippling Iran's oil revenues and putting enormous pressure on the regime.
