*Ireland to Boycott Eurovision Again Over Israel’s Participation* Ireland will not participate in or broadcast the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest, public broadcaster RTÉ announced. RTÉ said its decision was based on Israel’s participation, citing the situation in Gaza and restrictions on independent access for international journalists. Ireland also boycotted the 2026 competition alongside several other European countries.
