*Final Selichot Prayers Held at Packed Synagogue in Tehran* Iran’s Chief Rabbi Yehuda Gerami led the final Selichot prayers ahead of Yom Kippur at Tehran’s Yusef Abad Synagogue. The synagogue was packed with members of Iran’s Jewish community, who gathered for prayers and the traditional Hatarat Nedarim, the annulment of vows, before the fast. Jewish life continues in the heart of Tehran on the eve of Judaism’s holiest day.
