NYC Mayor Mamdani Marks October 7 Anniversary by Accusing Israel of “Genocide” New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani marked three years since the October 7 massacre by acknowledging that Hamas murdered more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 people. But Mamdani then turned much of his statement toward Israel, accusing the Israeli government of carrying out an “ongoing genocide” in Gaza and alleging “war crimes” and “apartheid.” He also criticized U.S. military support for Israel, claiming American tax dollars are helping fund what he described as Israeli war crimes. Apparently, even on the anniversary of October 7, Mamdani managed to find a way to make Israel the defendant. Hamas got a paragraph. Israel got the indictment.
