*6:29 AM Three Years Since Everything Changed* At exactly 6:29 AM New York time, three years ago, the October 7 massacre began. 1,318 IDF soldiers and members of Israel’s security forces have fallen. 1,029 civilians were murdered. 778 on the day of the massacre and 251 afterward. 251 people were kidnapped to Gaza. All have since been returned to Israel, but around 40 were murdered during their captivity and returned home dead. Around 30,000 IDF soldiers and security personnel have been wounded, with approximately 63% suffering psychological injuries and post traumatic stress. More than 7,000 people have joined Israel’s bereaved families, including 355 widows, 880 orphans, 3,772 bereaved siblings and 412 bereaved partners. For the first anniversary without hostages remaining in Gaza, Israel remembers the tremendous loss of the past three years. We remember. We will never forget. 🇮🇱
