Veteran Arab Affairs Analyst Warns: In Gaza, They Say October 7 Will Happen Again Veteran Arab affairs analyst Khaled Abu Toameh is warning that the world should take Hamas’s stated intentions seriously. He pointed to senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad’s statement after the massacre that the October 7 attack was only the first and that there would be a “second, third and fourth” time. Abu Toameh argues that rebuilding Gaza alone will not prevent another attempt unless Hamas and its ideology are dismantled.
