*Israel Confirms Flydubai Incident Was Attempted Jihadist Terror Attack* Defense Minister Israel Katz says the Flydubai incident was an attempted jihadist terror attack intended to crash the aircraft with everyone on board. According to Katz, several Israeli passengers broke into the cockpit, subdued the attacker and helped return control of the aircraft to another flight crew on board. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the passengers for their courage and said he instructed Israel’s security establishment to prepare for additional potential threats. Meanwhile, the Mossad is reviewing the crew list of the aircraft expected to return the stranded Israelis home. Israel is also considering sending an unmarked Israeli aircraft, pending Saudi approval.
