Katz: Israel Will Hold Ali Taher Ridge Until Hezbollah Is Disarmed Defense Minister Israel Katz said the Ali Taher ridge is now part of Israel’s “yellow line” and security zone in southern Lebanon. Katz said the IDF is preparing to maintain operational control of the ridge and prevent Hezbollah or any other force from reestablishing itself there. “Anyone who approaches the Ali Taher ridge will be eliminated,” Katz said. He added that Israel will not withdraw or redeploy from the security zone until Hezbollah is disarmed throughout Lebanon.
