Israeli Ambassador Asks for Prayers for Critically Wounded Son: “Neriya Needs a Miracle” Israel’s Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter is asking the public to pray for his son, Neriya, who was critically wounded in the Route 443 terrorist attack. “I believe in the power of prayer, and I believe that when the people of Israel unite, miracles happen,” Leiter wrote. “Neriya needs a miracle.” Leiter said Neriya continued serving in the IDF reserves after his older brother, Maj. Moshe Yedidya Leiter, H.Y.D., was killed fighting in Gaza in November 2023. Since October 7, Neriya has served hundreds of reserve duty days on multiple fronts. The ambassador asked the public to pray for Neriya Dov ben Chana.
