*Iranian Students Forced Abroad for TOEFL and GRE Exams* Iranian students seeking to study abroad are being forced to travel to other countries to take TOEFL and GRE exams after testing inside Iran was suspended. The change followed the US Treasury’s August 24 suspension of General License G, which had allowed certain educational services in Iran. ETS confirmed that testing inside Iran has stopped, while Iranian nationals can still take the exams abroad. Students say the disruption has added significant travel costs and uncertainty to an already difficult application process.
