BREAKING: Suspected Qatari Money Behind Massive Election Interference Scheme in Israel In an extraordinary development, Central Elections Committee Chairman Justice Noam Sohlberg has ordered Shin Bet chief David Zini to investigate serious suspicions that massive sums of foreign money were funneled into Israel to illegally influence the election. According to Israeli media reports, Qatar is the main suspected source of the funding, with possible Turkish involvement also under examination. The money was allegedly used to boost voter turnout in Israel's Arab sector through illegal means, including suspected voter bribery. Reports also suggest some funds may have passed through channels previously used to transfer terror financing. Sohlberg has demanded findings within approximately one week as election votes continue to be counted. These are serious but preliminary allegations. Neither foreign interference nor any impact on the election results has been established. Join Israel online
