U.S. Sends 12 F-16s Toward Middle East in New Fighter Rotation Open-source flight tracking indicates that 12 U.S. Air Force F-16C/D fighters from the Ohio Air National Guard are moving east with KC-135 and KC-46 aerial refueling support. The aircraft are transiting through the Atlantic toward the Middle East, according to multiple aviation-tracking accounts. The movement appears to be part of a fighter rotation rather than the deployment of two full squadrons. The Pentagon has not publicly announced their final operating location.
