Hamas Denies Israeli Claims of New Kidnapping Plans Hamas has denied Israeli intelligence claims that the terrorist organization is preparing new operations to abduct Israeli soldiers or civilians. Speaking to Al-Araby, Hamas representatives rejected the allegations and claimed instead that Israel is preparing renewed attacks in Gaza. The response follows Defense Minister Israel Katz’s warning that if even one Israeli is abducted, Gaza City’s population would be evacuated south and the city would face extensive military action. Hamas also claimed it remains committed to the ceasefire agreement and called for an investigation into Israel’s allegations.
