Heated Clash Between Turkish Foreign Minister and Israeli Representative at Closed-Door Meeting Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Israel’s representative to the Peace Council, Michael Eisenberg, reportedly engaged in a heated shouting match during a closed-door meeting in New York last week. The confrontation began after Fidan accused Israel of genocide and deliberately starving Palestinians in Gaza. Eisenberg pushed back, leading to a tense exchange between the two. When Fidan attempted to interrupt him, Eisenberg responded: “You will let me finish.” The confrontation became heated enough that Jared Kushner intervened to bring the exchange to an end.
