🇺🇸🇮🇷💻 DOJ CHARGES 17 IRANIANS IN MASSIVE CYBER THEFT CASE: The U.S. Justice Department has unsealed a superseding indictment charging 17 members of Iran’s Mabna Institute with allegedly conducting a years-long hacking campaign on behalf of the IRGC and other Iranian entities. Since at least 2013, the group allegedly targeted 144 U.S. universities, 178 foreign universities, dozens of companies and government agencies, stealing more than 31 terabytes of research and intellectual property.
