💰🇺🇸 SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS COULD RISE MORE IN 2027: Social Security recipients are projected to receive a 3.4% to 3.6% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) in 2027, up from the 2.8% increase for 2026. The Senior Citizens League estimates a 3.5% raise would add about $67.90 per month to the average benefit, increasing it from roughly $1,940 to $2,008. The final adjustment will be determined after September inflation data is released on Oct. 14, according to a report in the New York Post.
