🗳️ DEM GOVERNORS-BACKED SUPER PAC RAISES $4.3M FOR HOCHUL, LAUNCHES ANTI-BLAKEMAN ADS: A Democratic Governors Association-backed super PAC, Greater Empire State, has raised $4.34 million since late July to support New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s re-election bid against Republican Bruce Blakeman, according to state filings reported by the New York Post. Bloomberg, the Greater New York Hospital Association and Leadership for New York each gave $1 million. The group launched new ads Saturday tying Blakeman to President Trump’s economic agenda. Blakeman’s campaign called the spending a sign of Democratic desperation. A Pollfinity survey showed Hochul leading by three points, while a Marist poll earlier this month had her up 11. Election Day is November 3.
