The IDF says three Palestinian police officers were apprehended after setting up a roadblock in Area C near Beitunia, detaining and assaulting an Israeli civilian while operating beyond their authority. The officers are being questioned by security forces. The IDF called the incident a serious breach of established mechanisms, saying excessive force was used and the civilian's life was endangered, while stressing that security coordination will continue but violations of procedures will not be tolerated.
