🇦🇱🔥 VIOLENT ANTI-GOVERNMENT PROTESTS ROCK ALBANIA: Months of demonstrations in Albania’s capital, Tirana, have escalated into six consecutive days of violent clashes, leaving widespread destruction and hundreds injured. The “Flamingo Revolution,” initially sparked by a controversial luxury resort project, has expanded into protests over corruption, rising living costs, education costs and limited job opportunities. Demonstrators have set fires, damaged government buildings and clashed with police using tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons. At least 272 people have been injured since October 13, according to health officials. Protesters are demanding Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation, which he has rejected.
