🇹🇷🇷🇺🇺🇸 REPORT: TURKEY TO RECEIVE RUSSIAN DIESEL UNDER TRUMP-PUTIN DEAL: Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced Sunday that Turkey will receive a portion of the Russian diesel being released to global markets under President Trump’s October 9 agreement with Vladimir Putin. The deal calls for more than 1.8 million tons of diesel in the coming months, with U.S. sanctions relief allowing qualifying transactions through April 2027. Russia supplied approximately 85% of Turkey’s diesel imports in 2025, but Russian export restrictions forced Ankara to increase purchases from India and the United States. The agreement aims to ease global fuel shortages and rising prices.
