⚠️ CYBER WARNING FOR TRAVELERS: Israel’s National Cyber Directorate is warning travelers about fake alerts that may appear after connecting to public Wi-Fi at hotels, airports and other locations. Microsoft identified a campaign in which attackers prompt users to download updates, install software, run commands or enter passwords. Connecting to Wi-Fi should never require installing software—avoid entering passwords or verification codes on suspicious pages, update devices only through official settings or app stores, and use cellular data for sensitive activity when possible. If a suspicious message appears, close it and do not follow the instructions.
