🇮🇱 JOINT STATEMENT: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the IDF has destroyed Hezbollah's tunnel network in the Beaufort area of southern Lebanon, using approximately 700 tons of explosives. Israel said the tunnels were a key part of Hezbollah's plan to infiltrate Galilee communities and that the operation was carried out following Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire yesterday. Israeli officials warned that any future attacks on IDF forces or civilians will be met with a severe response, adding that the military will remain in the southern Lebanon security zone and continue dismantling Hezbollah infrastructure to prevent it from rebuilding.
