🔴 The IDF says troops have eliminated the terrorist responsible for Friday's shooting terror attack near Havat Gilad in Samaria after he opened fire on Israeli civilians hiking near the village of Tell. The terror attack claimed the life of Benyahu Malt, 32, who was murdered in the terrorist attack. Malt was a member of the Havat Gilad community's civilian security squad and served as its head of agriculture. According to the IDF, the terrorist stole the weapon of a responding security coordinator before carrying out the shooting, wounding several other Israeli civilians who were evacuated to hospitals for treatment. Soldiers recovered the stolen weapon after eliminating the terrorist, while additional forces continue security operations in the area. A joint security assessment is underway involving the IDF Central Command, the Judea and Samaria Division, Israel Police, and the ISA (Shin Bet).
