🇮🇱🩺 ISRAELI MEDICAL FIRST: 3D-PRINTED PELVIS IMPLANT: After a 15-year-old bone cancer patient’s tumor was deemed inoperable, doctors at Schneider Children’s Medical Center and Beilinson Hospital carried out a landmark 19-hour surgery, replacing half of his pelvis with a custom 3D-printed implant designed specifically for his anatomy. Following hundreds of hours of planning, Mark is now recovering and undergoing rehabilitation.
