Satellite imagery shows a previously unidentified Chinese nuclear-powered attack submarine under construction at Shanghai's Jiangnan Shipyard - a facility not previously linked to nuclear submarine production, suggesting Beijing may be expanding capacity. The 120-meter vessel has an unusually small sail, a design that could reduce drag and noise while improving speed and stealth. It's roughly comparable in size to the U.S. Virginia-class, though its designation and capabilities remain unconfirmed.
