A conversation between an Australian Jewish couple and an Irish man at a supermarket in France escalated into an alleged antisemitic confrontation, with the man reportedly saying he was sorry Adolf Hitler had not “finished the job” before threatening the couple. Karen Ivers, who filmed the encounter, said the conversation began casually after the man approached her husband over his French soccer shirt. She said the discussion later turned political and the man became aggressive.
