🇮🇹 ITALY TO PROTECT SHIPPING THROUGH BAB AL-MANDEB: Italy is activating its navy to safeguard Italian commercial vessels passing through the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and will not wait for an EU decision, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said. He argued that bureaucratic delays would worsen an already complex situation on the vital Red Sea route and said Italy has the capability to protect the passage.
