🇮🇱🇺🇸 U.S. ARMY URGES ADOPTION OF ISRAELI BATTLEFIELD MEDICINE AFTER IDF CUTS CASUALTY DEATH RATE BY MORE THAN HALF: The U.S. Army is reportedly urging American military medical teams to study and adopt Israeli battlefield medicine techniques after the IDF reduced the mortality rate among combat casualties from about 15% during the 2006 Second Lebanon War to 7.1% during the current war. Key advances include positioning doctors and medics closer to frontline troops, cutting advanced-care response times from 15–20 minutes to as little as four minutes, rapid helicopter evacuations and administering blood products and plasma directly on the battlefield. A 78-page U.S. Army report said America has an opportunity to learn from Israel’s combat experience before a future major war, warning: “The time for preparation is now.”
