🇮🇱🩺 Israel has launched the world's first clinical trial of SIL204, an experimental RNA-based therapy for pancreatic cancer developed by Israeli biotech Silexion Therapeutics. The Phase 2/3 trial at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center will evaluate the treatment, which targets mutated KRAS genes found in about 90% of pancreatic cancers, in patients with locally advanced, unresectable disease. If an initial safety phase is successful, the study will expand across Israel and Germany. Researchers emphasize that SIL204 remains investigational, and its safety and effectiveness have not yet been established.
