REPORT - U.S. FORCES STRIKE IRAN'S QESHM ISLAND IN SERIES OF SECRET MILITARY ATTACKS: U.S. forces reportedly struck Iran's strategically important Qeshm Island on Monday as part of a series of previously undisclosed, limited strikes carried out in recent weeks, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. officials. The attacks were described as defensive operations aimed at preventing Iranian threats to commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Qeshm Island, located near the strait's entrance, houses underground missile facilities and a naval base. The reported strikes come as President Trump publicly downplays the possibility of renewed military action against Iran while diplomatic efforts continue. U.S. Central Command has not publicly confirmed the latest reported strikes.
