REPORT: Chinese-made camera components aboard the Royal Navy's £12 million K3 Scout drone fleet were found sending "heartbeat" signals to an IP address in China, according to The Telegraph. The drones, used by the Royal Marines since March, have operated near the Special Boat Service headquarters in Poole and were being prepared for a potential Strait of Hormuz mission. The UK Ministry of Defence disconnected the cameras from the internet and said its investigation found no evidence that sensitive data or systems were accessed, compromised, or transmitted externally.
