✈️ NASA’S X-59 SUPERSONIC JET MAKES HISTORIC CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHT: NASA’s experimental X-59 jet is traveling from California to Florida ahead of the November 7–8 MAX POWER airshow. Built by Lockheed Martin, the aircraft has completed more than 40 flights, reaching Mach 1.53 and altitudes above 56,000 feet. Designed to produce softer “sonic thumps” instead of loud sonic booms, the jet could help pave the way for commercial supersonic flights over land. NASA will next test its noise levels over communities to assess public reaction.
