IRAN THREATENS NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES: Iran's Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei warned neighboring countries Saturday against joining what Tehran calls the U.S.-led "economic war," saying Iran would consider cooperating nations enemies and target their interests. Rezaei said Iran has already closed the Strait of Hormuz since the war began and is not currently considering reopening it, and warned that if regional countries join Washington's economic pressure campaign, Iran would block oil from passing through the entire Persian Gulf and target alternative regional oil-export routes as well.
